Board-Certified Neurosurgical & Orthopedic Spine Care · Lake Mary, FL
About the Practice

Pedro M. Ramírez, MD, FAANS, FCNS

Board-certified neurosurgeon, fellowship-trained in spine, and a bilingual physician who treats every patient the way he would treat his own family.

Dr. Ramírez is a board-certified neurosurgeon who has dedicated his career to the spine — and to the belief that great spine care begins with an accurate diagnosis, not an operating room.

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Dr. Ramírez earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, where he ranked first in his internship class of 150. He completed a general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach before pursuing neurosurgery at the University of New Mexico, where he served as Chief Resident and completed a dedicated neuro-orthopedic spine year.

He has practiced in Central Florida for more than a decade and performs roughly 500 spine procedures each year. A fluent Spanish speaker, he cares for patients across Central Florida’s diverse communities.

What sets his practice apart: Dr. Ramírez diagnoses and treats causes of spinal pain that many surgeons overlook — sacroiliac joint dysfunction, paraspinal muscle atrophy and other non-surgical sources of neck and back pain.
